CBHI Services

Do any of these sound familiar?

  • “My child scares me with her anger, I can’t take it anymore.”
  • “My son is coming home from the hospital, what do I do now?”
  • “She’s failing and constantly getting in trouble at school, but she doesn’t seem to care.”
  • “My son is really depressed and withdrawn, I don’t know how to reach him.”

If you have a child with serious behavioral, emotional or mental health needs and don’t know where to turn for help, turn to NCYF.  Our CBHI Services program is designed to support you, the parent, while helping your child succeed at home, in school and within the community.

Wondering how the program will benefit you and your family?

Our teams work closely with your child and family to identify strengths, areas of concern, establish goals, and create individualized strategies to meet those goals. We work with you in your home, in the community or in our offices, depending on your specific needs.

Here are some of the common ways that we can help:

  • Improving social and problem-solving skills
  • Managing risk and safety
  • Communicating better within your family and establishing new, positive ways of interaction
  • Developing natural supports and identifying and linking you to community resources
  • Building skills to strengthen the family unit and help you gain confidence in your skills as a parent

We offer:

  • More than 20 years of experience working with families in home and community settings.
  • A highly-skilled team of clinicians, therapeutic training and support workers, therapeutic mentors, supervisors and specialized staff. All are expertly trained in providing behavioral interventions and support.
  • Services that create and maintain natural supports for young people and their caregivers in the home, before, after or instead of inpatient treatment elsewhere.
  • Services that are part of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI):  In-Home Therapy, Therapeutic Training and Support, and Therapeutic Mentoring.
  • Access to NCYF’s continuum of care, with a variety of programs and professionals that can provide additional support as needed.
